How to Add a Logo and Site Icon to Your Website

Where to Add Your Logo and Site Icon #

To access the logo and site icon settings:

1. Log in to your WordPress Dashboard
2. Go to Appearance → Customize
3. The Customizer will open with a live preview of your website

Change or Add Your Website Logo #

Your logo appears in the header of your website.
To change or add your logo:

1. In the Customizer, navigate to Header
2. Open Site Title & Logo
3. Click Select Logo
4. Upload a new image or choose one from the Media Library
5. Preview how the logo appears on your website

Change or Add the Site Icon #

The site icon appears in browser tabs and bookmarks.
To change or add the site icon:

1. In the Customizer, navigate to Site Identity
2. Click Select Site Icon
3. Upload an image (recommended size: 512 × 512 pixels)
4. Preview how the icon appears in the browser tab

Preview Your Changes #

All changes are displayed instantly in the live preview.
You can switch between desktop, tablet, and mobile views to check responsiveness.

Save Your Changes #

When you’re satisfied with the updates:

1. Click Publish to apply the changes to your live website

Important Notes #

• Logo layout and size depend on your active theme
• Some themes allow hiding the site title when a logo is set
• Changes are not live until published
